Welcome to our corneal therapy clinic in Leicester UK.

Dr. Barot is the only eye doctor with a Fellowship from the Orthokeratology Academy of America in the United Kingdom, practising corneal therapy since 1999, while serving as a mentor and educator to others in his field.

Dr. Barot's eye clinic offers comprehensive eye examinations for the proper fit of corneal therapy lenses, also known a gentle or corneal molding lenses or ortho-k lenses. 


Corneal therapy or orthokeratology, is a safe and comfortable alternative to laser and lasik eye surgery, and for children as young as 7 years old. Read our Laser and Lasik Eye Surgery FAQ page here.

Corneal therapy allows a patient to sleep in corneal refractive or moulding lenses at night to be removed in the morning, giving them the FREEDOM to see clearly throughout the day without the use of contact lenses or spectacles.

I had my first pair of glasses at the age of 6. At that time my spectacle lenses were of -6. I have suffered very much due to my dependence on glasses. I used to get my glasses broken very often when I went out to play. Therefore, I was not allowed to go out to play.
